The most recent iteration of Foundation Composite Walls was analyzed in order to determine the insulating value and the results indicate an increase in R-Value to 16.5.
The analysis was performed by Integrated Energy Services using the Lawrence Berkeley Laboratory Therm 6.3 computer simulation program. Director of Product Development, Dan Wojtusik, said “We are elated to learn of the even greater insulating value of Foundation Composite Walls. This test and the many others that are being performed prove, once again, that if you plan to live in your lower level and optimize your square footage the clear choice is to build with Foundation Composite Walls.”
A clean, engineered solution for replacement of vertically installed concrete walls that combines strength, integrated stud cavities for mechanicals, insulation, top plate and a vapor barrier in a single step.
